Peter Thatcher BSc, FCA is an established executive coach with 13 years
experience of helping knowledge professionals with their continuing professional
development in their roles and responsibilities. His background is in
business and in learning and development. He is a qualified Chartered
Accountant who has been a Divisional Director of an international financial
training firm. He established his own consultancy practice in 1995.
Peter specialises in
providing tailored learning and development solutions in communication,
leadership and personal effectiveness and he is also a trusted advisor
to senior executives. He is well known for his down-to-earth practical
approach to all his assignments drawing on his own experience in
business and from working across a wide range of business sectors in
both the UK and overseas. His consulting experience includes banking,
insurance, financial services and the legal and accountancy
professions, with an understanding of SMEs and large organisations in
both commercial and not-for-profit sectors.
Peter has a strong interest
in working with individuals and groups to grow in their roles and
realise their full potential. His current coaching assignments include
peer group coaching with the partners in a national firm of patent
attorneys focusing on communication and effective management; one-to-
one coaching with senior partners in the legal and accountancy
professions to help them become better leaders; and working with
directors in an international accountancy firm to help them on their
journey to partnership.
